I will like to remind you all about the PDSS initiative and the need to implement it in all our branches.
The PDSS is a scheme backed by the police force order 20 which provides access to lawyers into police stations so that they can provide free legal assistance to suspects.
We are already running this scheme in Ikorodu and in the FCT. Since we started this scheme our relationship with the police has improved and we have managed to intervene in more than 60 cases in police stations across Ikorodu.

I would also like to remind you all of putting pressure on our respective state AGs to domesticate the provisions of ACJA and remove lay policemen from prosecuting cases at our lower courts.
