On Friday 17 of April, 2020, Barrister Ebinum Tiwatope declared her intention to vie for the position of the social secretary of the Ikorodu branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.

This followed her obtaining  her nomination form when she declared and solicited the votes of her learned colleagues and electorates in the General group of the branch.
