Corruption in the Judiciary

THE COMPLAINT

"I went to file one time and the commissioner was asking me sanitize his hands, if not he won't sign my papers. After pleading with him, he refused and was signing others who "wet" his hands before mine. Until a particular lawyer came in and was curious to ask what was going on and after explaining to him, he gave the commissioner #500 on my behalf. And that was how I left the court after spending 30 minutes with him.

MY APPEAL TO REGISTRARS AND LAWYERS

I beg you registrars to please please desist from this act of asking lawyers for money. I understand your situation but we are all going through difficult times.

Lawyers , please and please remember that everything you do has repercussions. You may have money to give a registrar today but remember your colleagues who may not have to give. Your actions in offering bribes or submitting to extortive behaviour works more harm for our profession and the justice system including putting the Judiciary in a bad light.

We need to redeem our image....justice is more important than our personal cases
