"May I congratulate the Chairman and Members of NBA Aba for successfully hosting the Branch Law Week 2021 which ran from Friday 10th September, 2021 to Friday 17th September, 2021.

There is no doubt that the week long event was enriching and refreshing to the Members of the Branch who have garnered more knowledge and exposure from the exciting Lectures and the other activities of the week.

The theme of the Law Week which was *Modern Law Practice in a depression economy* was apt for purpose. The Bar truly need to be fully equipped to confront the challenges coming out from the depressing economy.

I also thank the Chairman and Members of the Law Week Planning Committee for putting in so much to make the Law Week a hugely successful event. They will not lose their rewards even here on earth.

It is my earnest wish that the participants of the Aba Law Week will put to work the lessons learnt from the week long event.

Once again, congratulations to the Chairman and Members of the NBA Aba."
