Personally I have refused to believe that the very fine and amiable Dr. Hausa Shekarau has passed unto eternity. It took me this long to wake up to the realization that she is no more with us. What a life?
While we were yet to come to terms of the sudden death of Dr Hauwa, the sad news of the gruesome murder of our Orlu Branch Publicity Secretary, C. D Omekagu-Odumeh Esq filled the social media space on same 15th September, 2021 that Dr. Hauwa died.
As if these were not enough, the sad news of the passing unto glory of the Coordinator of the **African Women Lawyers Association, (AWLA), Akwa Ibom State, AWLAN Prof. Dorothy Udo Umoatan was announced. These are trying period for Lawyers across the Country!
It is my fervent prayer that the Almighty God will show us mercy and grant the members of the NBA and the families of our departed colleagues the fortitude to bear these irreparable losses.
