It is an honour for me to send my good will message to the chairman and members of the NBA Jos Branch on the occasion of their Law Week, 2021 that is commencing from 26th to 30th November, 2021.
This year's Law Week that is themed "Lawyers as Catalysts in Nation Building" is very relevant in present day reality.
There is no gainsaying the fact that lawyers and the role they perform in the society are catalysts in nation building.
It is also an accepted fact that every lawyer has a role to perform in nation building, and a better understanding of this role is part of what this Law Week seeks to achieve.
There is therefore the need for a deeper interrogation of the roles lawyers play in nation building.
Consequently, I wholly adopt the theme of this NBA Jos Law Week as apt and urge all members to close rank and ensure that this conversation is fruitful and all necessary lessons are learnt by all participants.
I wish to solicit the usual support of all lawyers in the Plateau to massively attend this epoch making event that will holding at the Millennium International Conference Centre, Domkat Bali Road, Jos.
Once again congratulations to all Members of the NBA Jos Branch.
