I FELICITATE WITH THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN LAWYERS (FIDA) NIGERIA ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIDA NIGERIA CONFERENCE 2021. | EWENODE O. WILLIAM ESQ.

With great pleasure, I felicitate with the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria on the occasion of the FIDA Nigeria Conference, 2021 holding from 24th November, 2021 to 29th November, 2021 at Abuja.

As a partner and supporter of FIDA and all Women Lawyers, I feel excited to be part of this Conference that promises to be exciting.

The theme of this year's Conference is "Addressing Gender Based Violence: New Tools."

There is no gainsaying the fact that the theme is right on point as the cases of gender based violence is increasing on daily basis.

The Conference seeks to achieve amongst others how best new tools can be deployed by Stakeholders to reduce to the barest minimum the issues of violence against women in their daily lives and career.

From the programme, I can confidently say that this Conference is well packaged to succeed. Looking at the array of fantastic Speakers, the topics, the Plenary and Break out Sessions, there is no doubt that FIDANS and all Stakeholders will experience a great time at the Conference.

I therefore enjoin all participants at the Conference to take notes and be equipped with the requisite new tools in engaging the tasks ahead.

I congratulate the out-going administration of the Country's Vice President for a great job done and wish the in-coming administration greater success all through their term.
