The judiciary has just asked me to compile a list of those in prison custody who deserve to be released.
Before today, this exercise was done inhouse with the judiciary, Ministry of Justice and the correctional facilities.
Now we have an opportunity to contribute to the list for possible release.
In compiling this list;
1. All vice chairmen are to request from their members the details of their clients or persons in detention who deserve to be released.
2. The list will be submitted here on this platform in word format.
The state director of legal aid council is also here but I am not sure if they have a direct link with the judiciary in this regard.
The idea is for the list to be presented as recommendation from each of the branches.
