I wish to congratulate the newly appointed Caretaker Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) ably led by Muntasir Adamu Esq., who will be leading an array of brilliant colleagues including Christiana Osayuki Agbonghae, Deborah Achanya (Secretary), Uchenna Mbaeke, Fadillah Lawal Adamu, Abdulrahman El-Ibrany, Isiaka Jamiu, Izuchukwu Jeffrey Oyinze, Christianah Aiyeetan, and C. K. Anyanwu.
The also constituted Young Lawyers Forum Advisory Council is chaired by Paul Daudu Esq., a man with vast experience. He has others on the Board such as John Aruoture, Inemesit Dike, and other great folks to assist in piloting the affairs of the Board.
I will specially commend Tobi Adebowale Esq., whose tenure as Chairman of the YLF witnessed tremendous successes. I am aware he hosted the recent Young Lawyers Summit at Abeokuta which was a huge success. Under his Chairmanship, Young Lawyers were equipped with Law pavilion as a working tool, and during the Covid-19 pandemic, we synergized, and about 10, 000 Young Lawyers were paid a stipend to cushion the harsh impact of the Covid-19 on our Young Colleagues.
I do not doubt that this Caretaker Committee will do well in further lifting the issues affecting Young Lawyers at the Bar.
Once again, congratulations to the Caretaker Committee Chairman and his fantastic team.
