Adekunle Kolawole Adekoya, Esq. is the Principal Partner, Gritz Solicitors (a Commercial Litigation, Corporate, and Property Consultancy Firm). A. K. Adekoya, Esq. attended Adeola Odutola Elementary School, Ijebu Ode, for his Primary School Education and Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. He then proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State to study Law.
As an undergraduate of the Faculty of Law, O.O.U. he was very active in the activities of the Law Students Association (LAWSA). He was elected the Sports Director in the 2005/2006 Faculty Exco set. Upon graduation from Olabisi Onabanjo University, he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus, and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012.
He had his mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corp programme at the Department of Public Prosecutions, Niger State Ministry of Justice, Minna, Niger State where he equally served as Publicity Secretary, NYSC Legal Aid Scheme, Minna, Niger State, 2011-2012. After the successful completion of his NYSC programme, he relocated to Ikorodu, Lagos State to engage in private legal practice.
He had a brief stint at Primelex Solicitors, Lagos Road, Ikorodu, Lagos as an Associate Counsel. Thereafter, he established his own law firm, Gritz Solicitors, which majors in public interest litigation, property, and corporate law practice. He is a registered member of NBA Ikorodu Branch and belongs to different socio-cultural organizations. He has been active in all the associations as he aims to positively impact his immediate community.
The positions he held in the NBA Ikorodu Branch include Member, Human Rights and Pro Bono Committee (2014 - 2016); Treasurer, Young Lawyers Forum of NBA, Ikorodu Branch (2016 - 2018); Secretary, Task Force on Professional Conduct and Prevention of Touts & Charlatans Committee (2018 - 2020). He is an Associate of the Certified Institute of Shipping, Lagos.
Despite his professional commitments, he finds time to do what is very dear to his heart - serving his community. He is currently the Legal Adviser, Olunde/Oga-Olu Community Development Association, Agbele, Ota Ona, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
His passion is to continue to devote his time to the service of the Bar. He is married with kids.
