I stand in condemning the recent assault on two of our Colleagues, Messrs - Mr. Samuel Ekpo and E. V. Dung both of NBA Keffi Branch.


The reports that the two gentlemen were assaulted while performing their lawful duties as Counsel.


I must stress that these attacks on lawyers are becoming too many and they must stop forthwith.


Lawyers everywhere must rally round ourselves for an injury to one is an injury to all.


I pray this will be the last to be heard of the assaults/attacks on Lawyers in Nigeria.
