I COMMISERATE WITH THE FAMILIES OF THE INNOCENT NIGERIANS INVOLVED IN THE IMO AND TARABA TRAGEDIES. | EWENODE O. WILLIAM ESQ.

I commiserate with the families of all the innocent Nigerians who lost their lives in the most unfortunate tragedies that took place recently in both Imo and Taraba States.

We recall that a few days ago, Nigerians were shown the gory pictures of charred bodies of fellow Nigerians who were burnt in the unfortunate inferno at the refinery in Imo State.

As if not done, Nigerians were again inundated with another tragedy where several innocent lives were wasted in Taraba State.

I feel pained with this unnecessary wastage of precious human lives that could have been avoided.

Nigerian politicians have as usual made statements on both incidents but I dare say, these two tragedies are most unfortunate and avoidable.

Whichever way it is viewed, the Government at all levels must strive to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians as well as create jobs that will take many young persons out of crime.

I hereby extend my condolence to the families of all the innocent Nigerians that were caught in both the Imo and Taraba States tragedies.
