DELTA STATE CHIEF JUDGE, HONOURABLE JUSTICE TESSY DIAI WILL ON MONDAY, MAY 16TH 2022 EMBARK ON THE SECOND QUARTER VISIT TO THE FIVE CUSTODIAL CENTRES OF THE NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE AND SAPELE REMAND HOME, ACROSS THE STATE.

 

According to the itinerary of the Honourable Chief Judge's visit released by the office of the Chief Registrar, High Court of Justice, Delta State, Justice Diai will begin the visit with the Custodial Centre, Warri (popularly known as Okere prison) on Monday, May 16th to Wednesday, May 18th, 2022. While Sapele Custodial Centre and Remand Home will be visited on Thursday, May 19th.


Similarly, the Chief Judge will be at Kwale Custodial Centre on Monday 23rd, while that of Agbor Custodial Centre is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24th.


The Chief Judge will round off the visit at Ogwashi-Uku Custodial Centre from Thursday 26th to Friday 27th, 2022.


The time of the visit is 10 a.m for each exercise.


Accordingly, lawyers, security agencies, and stakeholders in the administration of criminal justice are urged to be prepared for the proposed visit of the Chief Judge to make it successful.

  1. When will sapale court judge resume from now till September 30... please 🙏😭😭😭 I need to know,my junior sibling who is 17 year old is in sapale prison suffering for a crime he knows nothing about.
    They said we should take a lawyer, and we have done that already.... but he told us is still waiting to judge to give him a date,I am confused...... will don't have any body to help us in this case,I only hope in God.
