URGENT INFORMATION: UPDATE ON THE ASSAULT CASE AGAINST MRS. GBOLAGADE.

I dropped by on my way to Justice Akinkugbe's Court this morning at Igbogbo Road Police Station. I am flanked by our Colleagues (left) by Mr. Gbolahan Jagun and (right) Mrs. Maryam Gbolagade. At the extreme left (in maroon red) is the IPO Sgt. Ediare.

We are here to press charges against Mrs. Abiodun Ikotun who assaulted Mrs. Gbolagade yesternight.

As soon as I got to the station this morning, Mr. Gbolahan Jagun also met me and informed me that this morning an Okada rider ran into him and damaged his vehicle on Suberu Ogunsanya Street, off Ayangburen Road around the Oba's Palace.

He accosted the Okada rider who pounced on him and gave him blows to his face. He now has a swollen face under his right eye. The Okada man was apprehended but his Union members invaded and got him released to a senior and known member of the union.

We are waiting to see the DPO in respect of both cases. More updates later.

Injury to one is an injury to all. We shall get to the root of both cases.

Thank you all.

URGENT INFORMATION

Distinguished Seniors and Honourable Colleagues, it just came to my notice that one of us was physically assaulted at the Igbogbo Police Station now.

Details shortly. Thank you.

The affected Colleague is Mariam Gbolagade Esq. She was pleading with a complainant for a suspect whom she represented and out of the blues, the complainant slapped her and harassed her.

The complainant is also a woman.

We have insisted that she be charged as a deterrent and to teach others a lesson.

I. K. Thany, Esq.

Chairman,

NBA Ikorodu Branch.
