DELTA STATE JUDICIARY MARKS THE 2022/2023 LEGAL YEAR.

The activities marking the opening of the 2022/2023 Legal Year celebrations by Delta State Judiciary shall hold on Tuesday, 11th October 2022.

His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State and vice presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 presidential election, is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony.

According to the programme of activities released by the office of the Chief Registrar High Court of Justice, there will be a Thanksgiving Mass at the Emmanuel the Saviour Catholic Church, at 10 a.m, High Court Road, Asaba.

At 12 noon, the Chief Judge of Delta State, Honourable Justice Tessy Diai will inspect a Guard of Honour at the High Court of Justice Complex, High Court Road, off Okpanam Road, Asaba.

This will be followed by a Special Court Session at the Ceremonial Hall of the new High Court Complex, Asaba, at 12.30 p.m. 

Chief Judges of other states, judicial officers, and legal practitioners are expected to attend the occasion. 

Lawyers are expected to be fully robed for the Special Court Session.
