REVENUE MOBILIZATION ALLOCATION AND FISCAL COMMISSION: CALLS FOR MEMORANDA ON THE REVIEW OF REMUNERATION OF JUDICIAL OFFICERS.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, has been at the forefront of the campaign for better remuneration of Nigerian judicial officers. Following this campaign, a process is ongoing for an upward review of the salaries and allowances of judicial officers.

Consequently, the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) requests memoranda, information, and/or opinions from members of the NBA concerning the remuneration of public, political, and judicial officeholders in the country.

Members are by this notice, requested to send in their memoranda, information, and/or opinions with particular respect to the remuneration of judicial officers. 

The memoranda, information, and/or opinions are to be sent to the President through; [email protected]. All communications in this regard must be sent in by the close of work on Friday, 2nd December 2022.
