THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE ACTING THROUGH THE PSO DIRECTS THE DEPUTY INSPECTORS GENERAL OF POLICE AND OTHERS TO ENFORCE THE PROVISION OF THE COMPULSORY TREATMENT AND CARE FOR VICTIMS OF GUNSHOT ACT 2017.

The Inspector General of Police, acting through the Principal Staff Officer, in a letter dated 25th of October, 2023 directs the deputy inspectors general of police, the assistant inspectors general of police, the commissioners of police of the Nigeria Police Force, and the commandant of the Police College to comply with and enforce the provision of the compulsory treatment and care for victims of the Gunshot Act 2017 without any hesitation.
