COVID-19 WELFARE: OLEH NBA BRANCH COMMENCES DISTRIBUTION OF PALLIATIVE PACKAGE TO LAWYERS.

On the 16th Thursday and 17th Friday April, 2020, the Oleh branch of the Nigerian Bar Association have kept true to promise when it commenced the distribution of palliative package to the first batch of lawyers within  1-5 year post call.  

The branch COVID-19 Welfare Committee is poised to commence distribution to lawyers above 5 years post call within this new week.

The 8-man COVID--19 Welfare Committee in a statement signed by the Chairman, Sunny Adolo  is consisted of the following members;
 1. V.E. Otolo (Mrs) Chairman.
2. O.Obasohan
3. P.  Erhinyodavwe.
4. E.O.Godspower (Mrs.)
5. A.O. Osha (Mrs)
6. Timothy. Agbaragu
7. I. Ekperuru
8. J. Itedjere.

The Chairman also stated that the terms of reference is, to distribute palliative welfare package to members of the branch of 1 - 5 years post call, to source for additional fund in order for the palliative package to go round the target beneficiaries.

Stating further that the Modus Operandi is distribution  from door to door with strict compliance to social distancing as prescribed by the World Health Organisation.

This move by the branch leadership met with appreciation and applauded the Chairman, executive and the branch for displaying such a novel compassion for the young lawyers.
