This is a Chief Magistrate in Cross River State Nigeria, she is protesting at the gate of the Governor's office with her two kids over non payment of her salaries for two years.
She is a Magistrate, she presides over both Criminal and Civil matters and she is expected to deliver justice without prejudice.
She is expected to be the last hope of the common man with hunger in her stomach...
She is expected not to collect bribe with a son really ill and need of serious medical attention and yet with no salary.
She might be sacked for protesting over hunger and starvation under the disguise of "Rules of Professional Conduct" and "Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers" Please lets do what we can to protect her.
last week, social media was agog with headlines of how Magistrate in Akwaibom state enter Kekenapep to work because they have not been given official cars, here in Cross River State, we dont even pay them thier wages.
Who did Cross River state offend to have Ayade as a Governor ? This is so inhumane.
