Many clients will be reluctant to give you a million bucks when you do not dress well, have a car, or have a well-decorated office.

Clients will always price you the way you appear. Therefore always dress well. Get a car, borrow if you must, especially when you want to meet potential big clients. 

Never Collect Your Fees in Court.

It is an eyesore to see lawyers arguing with their clients over fees in court. Most clients will lure lawyers to court with a promise to pay the agreed fees immediately after the court sitting only to renege on their promise.

The best way to avoid this kind of scenario is to insist that clients pay the required fees at least a day to the hearing of the matter.
