"As a friend and Partner of the NBA Young Lawyers Forum, I wish to felicitate with the National Chairman, Mr. Tobi Adebowale and all Young Lawyers in Nigeria on the occasion of the NBA- YLF Conference themed " *Repositioning Young Lawyers For Excellence in an Age of Digital Disruption, Economic Meltdown And Socio-Political* *Pressure*" holding from 19th September, 2021 to 20th September, 2021 at the Oba's Complex, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The theme of the Conference is apt and couldn't have come at no other time than this period of serious economic pandemic where our Young Lawyers are worst hit.
It is a fact that many of our Young Lawyers who are exceptionaly gifted in digital and ICT are now faced with serious disruptions arising from the economic meltdown facing our Country.
I recall that the last dispensation of the NBA where I served as National Assistant Secretary, greatly supported thousands of Young Lawyers with Law Pavilion report and other welfare packages including payment of N10,000 to Young Lawyers to cushion the negative effect of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is my earnest wish that our colleagues will take advantage of the lessons to be learnt from this Confrenece and navigate their ways out of the present economic and socio-political pressures facing them.
I wish all Conferees a great time in the beautiful city of Abeokuta and journey mercies to their various destinations."
