IKORODU DIVISION SECURITY SUMMIT 2021.

 

DEAR DISTINGUISHED SENIORS AND COLLEAGUES!

The Anti-Cultism Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikorodu Branch in partnership with National Youth Council of Nigeria Ikorodu Division and Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative, presents; IKORODU DIVISION SECURITY SUMMIT 2021.

Following the spate of killings arising from various shades of criminalities and cultism which in recent time has made Ikorodu Division a dreaded place to visit, reside or transact business, the need for us to chart a new course that would avert recurrence of all forms of nefarious activities within and outside Ikorodu Division cannot be over emphasized, hence, the need for Security Summit.

The activities of these cultists were really bad at a time in Ikorodu Division to a point that all socio-cultural and commercial activities were terribly affected and the residents grabbed with fear. Consequently, the security summit has become so important as it will make expatriates/businesses to be encouraged to find their way back to Ikorodu Division of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole, by so doing, jobs will be available for our teeming youths population.

In view of the above, i have the directive of the CHAIRMAN of the Anti-Cultism Committee, MRS. HENRIETTA ADERO FADAHUNSI, to notify and invite distinguished members as Stakeholders who are concerned about the adverse effect of cultism and insecurity in the society.

The program has been scheduled as follows:

Date: Thursday, 23rd of September, 2021.

Time: 10:00 am prompt.

Venue: Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Theme: Eradicating the Menace of Cultism and Other Social Vices: Causes, Effects, and Solutions.

Chairman of Occasion/Lead Discussant: High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN.

Royal Father of the Day: HRM Oba Engr. Kabir Shotobi (The Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom)

Over six other discussants and Keynote Speaker from the legal profession, Academia, formal and informal security sectors will grace the occasion.
