It is of great pleasure for me to write a goodwill message to the Chairman and Members of the NBA Enugu Branch on this auspicious occasion of the Branch's 2021 Law Week.
The Law Week of a Branch is a period that is specially designed for Lawyers to learn and get expose to new frontiers of the law.
It is in the Law Week that members share ideas amongst themselves.
Law Week affords Lawyers the opportunities of learning and networking that results in higher productivity and income to Lawyers.
It is therefore important to stress that the theme of this year's Law Week being "Strengthening the Judicial Process for Justice delivery in a period of National Crisis" is perfect.
The theme strikes the right cord as it fits neatly into the current national crisis that our nation Nigeria is facing.
The need to strengthen the pillars of our justice delivery system in Nigeria cannot be over emphasised.
I therefore commend the Chairman and Members of the NBA Enugu Branch for taking the gauntlet to discuss this critical issue.
I also commend the Law Week Planning Committee for choosing the topic and getting the right Discussants to do justice to the topic.
May I therefore call on all our colleagues in Enugu to fully participate in the Law Week.
