I wish to specially felicitate with the NBA Lagos, Ikeja, Benin, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Onitsha and Okehi on the occasion of their Law Week and Dinner which they held in colourful style.

I have maintained at different occasions that Law Weeks are periods where Lawyers are exposed to different areas of law and the practice of the law. Law Weeks affords practitioners more opportunities of learning new frontiers of the law. 

Legal and social-economic issues that affects the practice of law and the society generally, are some of the topics usually treated at Law Weeks.

Dinners and End of Year events have been used by Branches as opportunities to relax in atmospheres of conviviality where members and their spouses wine and dine devoid of the usual hectic job schedules.

It was gladdening to hear that the Law Weeks and Dinners held by these Branches of the NBA succinctly touched these issues.

I hereby congratulate our members in these Branches for having the opportunity to learn, wine and dine together at these events.
