Recall that on the 23rd September 2021, the Inaugural Ikorodu Division Security Summit was held by the Anti-Cultism Committee, NBA Ikorodu Branch in collaboration with IDYI & NYCN Ikorodu Division to discuss cultism and other various shades of criminalities with the view to charting a new course that would avert recurrence of all forms of nefarious activities within and outside Ikorodu Division.


The chairman of the Occasion, High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, in his opening remark noted that the IDPILG has concluded plan for the operational training of the security outfit Local Joint Task Force of IDPILG (LJTF-IDPILG) at the Nigerian Police College, Ikeja, Lagos for a 3-Weeks training, after which the security outfit will be equipped with necessary equipment and logistics to aid their operation.


He further reiterated the commitment of Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative LTD/GTE to put in place a sustainable local security system and arrangement aimed at complementing the efforts of governments at various levels and security agencies in ensuring the safety of lives and properties, thereby facilitating the promotion of peace and commerce.


In less than 24 hours, the historic launching and unveiling of the IKORODU DIVISION PEACE INITIATIVE LTD/GTE and distribution of Patrol Vehicles and Motorbikes to security outfit will hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos.


Kudos to Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative LTD/GTE (IDPILG) for this laudable project and service to humanity.
