EWENODE O. WILLIAMS, ESQ. CONGRATULATES HON. JUSTICE AMINU GARBA OF 2004 CALL SET ON THE OCCASION OF HIS SWEARING IN TODAY AS A JUDGE OF THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT.

I rejoice and celebrate with our own Aminu Garba Esq. and others that are being sworn in today as Judges of the Federal High Court at the Supreme Court.

I am particularly excited about the case of Aminu Garba Esq. now Hon. Justice Aminu Garba from our class records to be the first to be sworn in as a Judge of the Federal High Court from the 2004 Nigerian Law School Call Set.

Hon. Justice Aminu Garba was a Bar man who served the Nigerian Bar Association, Funtua Branch as its Chairman and was also a National Executive Committee (NEC) member.

It is on record that Hon. Justice Aminu Garba as a Bar man has traveled around this Country both for NEC meetings and NBA Conferences.

It is on record that the 2004 Call Set has produced Judges of the State High Courts, Magistrates, and other levels of the Judex except for the Federal High Court.

It is therefore my joy that one of our own in the 2004 Call Set has broken the barrier by this elevation and swearing as a Federal High Court Judge today.

It is my earnest prayer that very soon the 2004 Call Set shall have more Judges of the States High Courts, Justices of the Appellate Courts, and Senior Advocates of Nigeria in their numbers.

I also congratulate milords that were sworn in alongside our call mate today and pray that God grant them the required wisdom to discharge the onerous duties of a Judge.
